The room was incredibly spacious. We stayed in a King room, the view could have been better but as we spent majority of our time outside of the hotel, it wasn't an issue for us. I was concerned with the noise as they gave us the room right opposite the elevator but that turned out to be a non issue also. The hotel was kind enough to leave out ear plugs for us but we didn't feel the need to use it as the hotel or maybe the room we stayed in was relatively quiet. The room and bathroom was clean and the hotel was conveniently located. About 5 minutes walk to the Riverwalk and 20 minutes to Navy Pier. There are restaurants around the hotel but they can be a bit pricey due to location of the hotel. Staff were friendly and always willing to help. All in all, a brilliant stay for our first time in Chicago.

Breakfast was wonderful at Miss Ricky's. My genius discount promised a "free breakfast" but the hotel said they would give us $20 vouchers per person. Breakfast entrees for a typical eggs and potato breakfast start at $21. So this was not 'free.' The room was very large, and well laid out, bed was super comfortable. Very close to the elevated train, convenient to downtown, West Loop, the river, and the park. I wish I'd known sooner about the commons, which is a great place to hang out. Very secure---your card swipes the elevator and you only have access to your floor, the gym, and rooftop bar. Staff were very helpful.

It's all the thoughtful little details that make this property impress. The room is an average size, but designed so well that it feels expansive. The sliding doors between the entry/dressing/bathroom area are a little thing that makes a big impact on comfort for a couple, as does separating the shower and toilet. Bed is comfortable, sheets and towels are good quality. The mini fridge and snacks were well-stocked (pricey of course). Good food and bar services on site. Stopped for the view at the rooftop bar, but the chill and our generational gulf led us to a brief stay.

This hotel is very aesthetic. If you appreciate a stylish hotel, this is for you. I really liked the location. Nearly everywhere I wanted to go (excluding a couple of restaurants) was easily walkable from this location. I also really liked the layout of the room. I thought it was well-appointed, and I appreciated the little table and the (larger) mini fridge. The wine glasses were a nice touch. I did not try any of the food & beverage offerings but the rooftop bar and coffee shop on the first floor are nice to have.

Good central location, close to everything and easy access to transportation, attractions, food, shopping. Well designed, cosy and comfortable rooms. Helpful friendly staff from front desk, housekeeping, concierge and valet. Well stocked toiletries and towels. No issue with downtown/train noise. Strong water pressure for shower. Comfortable bed and many pillows (both on the soft side though).
